Potteroo is named after and inspired by the critically endangered Gilbert's Potoroo. This small marsupial was thought to be extinct for a hundred years until it was re-discovered in 1994 at Two Peoples Bay in Albany.
Potteroo is a business that sells art in the gallery as well as offering workshops, parties and lessons for all ages.
Lily's passion for the environment, in particular West Australian fauna and flora, is evident in her artwork. It is hoped that the quirky expressions on the animals will help to educate and highlight the plight of these lesser known creatures.
All of Lily's artwork is individually designed and created using a variety of Australian clays from the finest white porcelain to deep brown buff raku.
